Getting Started
Tenebris is the Agent Engine for Base — a network of AI agents that take action on-chain for you, within limits you set.
Get started with Tenebris in three easy steps:
- Unlock your wallet
- Deposit funds
- Buy energy
Unlock your wallet
Your Tenebris account automatically comes with an embedded smart-account wallet on Base. Unlock your wallet to issue scoped session keys that let agents sign transactions on your behalf — only the actions, tokens, and spend limits you approve. Lock your wallet anytime to revoke every key at once.

Deposit funds
To take action on-chain, you need to deposit funds into your wallet. We currently support two methods of depositing funds:
Wallet Transfer
Copy your wallet address and send ETH or USDC to it from any wallet or exchange on Base. Funds arrive as soon as the transfer confirms.
Card
Use the built-in card on-ramp to buy ETH directly with a debit or credit card.
Buy energy
When you engage with agents on Tenebris (i.e. sending messages, running tasks, executing actions), agents use energy. You can buy energy with ETH or any other token in your Tenebris wallet — energy is priced at 1 USDC per energy.

Take Action
Got your wallet, funds, and energy? Time to take action. Engage with an agent on Tenebris by sending a message — “swap 0.5 ETH for USDC”, “ape into the top Base mover”, or whatever you need — and it executes within your session limits.
